India announced a 20-player squad for the World Test Championship (WTC) final and the subsequent five-Match Test series in England.
WTC final will be played between India and New Zealand in Southampton, which is scheduled to begin on the 18th of June. The Test series against England will start on the 4th August.
Mohammed Shami, Ravindra Jadeja and Hanuma Vihari returned to the squad after missing the recent home Tests against England due to injuries.
Virat Kohli’s side is expected to leave for England on June 2nd. India are carrying a total of 24 players including 4 standby players keeping in mind the length of the tour and the contingencies which may arise due to Covid-19.
