Recently, a video from the Blackcaps’ game against Bangladesh has gone viral where batter Glenn Phillips hit a girl in the stands as he smashed the winning six at the Hagley Oval in Christchurch.

But what Phillips did after this accident has won hearts on the internet. The 25-year-old after seeing the injured fan rushed to the boundary line immediately and checked up on her as it hit the 12-year-old girl right above the eye. According to fans in the stadium, the Kiwi batter spent over 20 minutes with the injured girl and also signed autographs for other audience members in the stadium.
