Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) has released the match fee details, which will be paid for cricketers for international matches. Accordingly, these fees will have different rates based on the type of match – Tests, ODIs and T20Is.
Match fees paid to National cricketers for Test matches have been increased by $500 compared to what was paid in 2019. US Dollar value for ODI and T20I matches remain the same.
Previously SLC released the annual contract details for national cricketers, where only 24 players received official contract from Sri Lanka Cricket. Amounts in contracts were drastically reduced for some senior cricketers with few them losing in the range of $ 30,000 – 50,000 compared to their previous contracts.
