Sri Lanka has namad a temporarily replacement for batting coach position of the national cricket team after Grant Flower tested Positive for Covid-19.
Dhammika Sudarshana, Sri Lanka Under-19 head coach will be with the national team temporarily.
Dhammika Sudarshana had worked with several national cricketers including Wanindu Hasaranga and Dhananjaya De Silva at school level.
A keen student of the game, Sudarshana, a former Richmondite, played first-class cricket as a right-hand opening bat and went onto represent his country in the Sri Lanka ‘A’ side captained by Thilan Samaraweera that comprised of players in the calibre of Kumar Sangakkara, Ian Daniel, Michael Van Dort, Avishka Gunawardene, Chamara Silva, Indika de Saram and Tillakaratne Dilshan, The Daily FT reported.
