Six former Sri Lankan cricketers have been confirmed for the Legends League Cricket tournament which is set to kick off in Oman, later this month.
Nuwan Kulasekara signed for the tournament today becoming the sixth former Sri Lankan player to join the league.
Along with Nuwan Kulasekara, Former cricketers Sanath Jayasuriya, Romesh Kaluwitharana, TM Dilshan, Chaminda Vaas, and Upul Tharanga will represent Sri Lanka for the Asian Legends.
The others from the Asian Legends will comprise players from Pakistan.
Apart from the Asian Legends, the cricket tournament will feature an Indian XI and World XI as well, while each team will play twice against each other and play a direct final.
The Legends League Cricket tournament will take place from the 18th to the 30th of January 2022. (NewsWire)
