The five times champions Mumbai Indians slipped to another defeat in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 after losing to Lucknow Super Giants tonight.
This has been a disastrous start for the Mumbai Indians to their Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 campaign, losing all 6 of their first 6 matches and currently hangs right at the bottom of the points table and is the only team yet to open their account.
Former Mumbai Indians pacer and their all time highest wicket taker Lasith Malinga wrote an encouraging message after the loss against Lucknow. Malinga tweeted “ @mipaltan has always been a team of comebacks. Whether or not they get through to the playoffs this year, expect them to have a strong finish to the season💙
Their core group of players and the support staff definitely have the quality to pull them back💪 #Mumbaiindians”
