New Zealand’s Trent Boult equaled Sri Lankan legend Muttiah Muralitharan’s record for scoring the most runs at number 11 in Test cricket history. He scored 623 runs in his Test career batting at number 11. Now New Zealand fast pitcher Trent Boult has equaled Muralitharan’s record.

Most Test runs at No. 11

623 T. A. Boult (NZ) 69 Tests/78 inns
623 M. Muralitharan (SL) 87/98
609 J. M. Anderson (E) 119/164
603 G. D. McGrath (A) 118/128
553 C. A. Walsh (WI) 89/122
452 R. G. D. Willis (E) 60/78

(Excludes Tests/innings batting above No. 11)

With Boult and Anderson expected to play more Test matches, Murali record is in serious threat.
