Kandy Falcons wishes to announce the appointment of star all-rounder Wanindu Hasaranga as the ‘Captain’ of the team for the upcoming Lanka Premier League.
‘’We are extremely happy to announce that Wanindu Hasaranga will be captaining our team. He is an experienced T20 cricketer. I am very confident he will do a great job,’’ said Parvez Khan, the owner of Kandy Falcons.
This will be the first time Wanindu Hasaranga will be leading a team in franchise cricket.
Kandy Falcons will begin the season with the first game played on August 1st against the Colombo Stars.
